The Diploma of Equine Massage Therapy has been compressed to allow completion in two years using innovative flexible delivery, workplace assessment and intensive block teaching periods.

You will be provided with comprehensive written study materials to help you build the required underpinning, theoretical knowledge. You will have access to expert teachers for support as you work through these flexible materials at your own pace to acquire the understanding you need to be a professional therapist.

Intensive week-long workshops will focus on learning the ‘hands-on’ skills of equine massage and related activities. Between workshops you will practice the skills developed and the instructors will visit you to assess your progress and enhance your learning.

You will make progress through the course by submitting assignments about the underpinning knowledge and being assessed in the ‘hands-on’ aspects of the course in your own environment.

There may be basic skills in which you are already competent or have prior work experience. You can apply to have these areas recognised so that you will not have to complete them again.

A personalised strategy for your enrolment through the course’s modules will be developed to take into account you particular interests, prior skills and other demands.

You will enrol and pay for this course on a per-semester basis at a rate of $3000 each semester. To complete the diploma in the suggested 2 year compressed mode you would complete approximately 7 modules each semester.
